At Debbie Greenfield Clarity & Execution, I take your privacy seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how I use and protect it, and the rights you have in relation to your information.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Debbie Greenfield – Clarity & Execution is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

Please do not provide sensitive personal information through the website contact form unless it is genuinely necessary.

I do not sell your personal information.
4. My lawful bases for using your information
UK data protection law requires me to have a lawful basis for processing your personal information.
Depending on why I am using your information, I may rely on one or more of the following:
Contract
Where processing your information is necessary to provide services you have asked me to provide, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Legitimate interests
Where I have a legitimate business reason for processing your information and doing so does not override your rights and interests.
This may include responding to and following up on genuine business enquiries, maintaining professional relationships, keeping appropriate business records and managing and developing my business.
Legal obligation
Where I need to process or retain information in order to meet a legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligation.
Consent
Where I specifically ask for your permission to use your information for a particular purpose.
Where I rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Contacting me through this website
The contact form on this website asks for your first name, last name, email address and message.
I use the information you provide through the form to respond to your enquiry and manage any conversation or professional relationship that results from it.
Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
I do not currently operate a newsletter or use information submitted through the contact form for automated email marketing.
If this changes in the future, I will provide appropriate information and choices before using your information in that way.
6. Sharing your information
I do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
I may share or allow access to personal information where reasonably necessary to operate my business or provide my services.
This may include trusted providers of:
-
website hosting and technology;
-
business email and cloud storage;
-
accounting or bookkeeping services;
-
IT or administrative support; and
-
professional advice, such as legal or accounting services.
-
My website is built and hosted using Wix, which processes certain information as part of providing and securing the website.
Where I think another professional or trusted supplier may be able to help you, I will normally discuss the proposed introduction with you before sharing your contact details with them.
I may also disclose information where I am legally required to do so.
7. Wix, cookies and website technology
This website is built and hosted using Wix.
Wix uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes including operating and securing websites and providing website functionality.
Some cookies are essential for the website to work correctly. Other cookies or technologies may not be essential and, where required, will only be used in accordance with your cookie choices.
At present, I have not added third-party advertising or marketing tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel to this website.
You can manage your cookie choices through the cookie controls provided when you visit the website.
If I introduce additional analytics, marketing tools, or other website services in the future, I will review this Privacy Policy and the website's cookie settings as appropriate before doing so.
Wix confirms that when its cookie consent banner is enabled, only essential cookies and scripts are initially loaded, with consent required for other categories. Wix also recommends linking the banner to the site's privacy policy. Wix Support
8. Where your information is stored
I use reputable technology and service providers to operate my business and store information securely.
Some technology providers may process or store personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, I take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer is made in accordance with applicable UK data protection requirements and that appropriate safeguards are in place where required.
9. How long I keep your information
I keep personal information only for as long as I reasonably need it for the purpose for which it was collected, or where I am required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting or regulatory reasons.
The appropriate retention period therefore depends upon the nature of the information and my relationship with you.
For example, information relating to clients and financial transactions may need to be retained for longer than a general website enquiry because of contractual, accounting and tax requirements.
Enquiries and professional contact information will be reviewed periodically and deleted when I no longer have a reasonable business or legal reason to retain it.
The ICO permits businesses to explain how they determine retention periods where a single fixed period isn't appropriate. ico.org.uk
10. Keeping your information secure
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to me and, where necessary, trusted service providers who require access in order to provide services to my business.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but I take reasonable and proportionate steps to protect the information entrusted to me.
11. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you a number of rights in relation to your personal information.
These may include the right to:
-
ask me what personal information I hold about you;

I will do my best to resolve your concern.

The latest version will always be published on this page, and the date at the top of the policy will show when it was last updated.
